Workshop on Altaic Formal Linguistics 17: Call for Papers We invite abstracts for 20-minute in-person talks (followed by 10-minute discussions) on topics dealing with formal aspects of any area of theoretical Altaic linguistics, including phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, or pragmatics. The term ‘Altaic’ is understood to include Turkic, Mongolic, and Tungusic languages, as well as Korean, Japanese, Ryukyuan, and Ainu. Depending on the reviews, some papers may be recommended for in-person poster presentations. The submission deadline for abstracts is April 14, 2023.
