The selection of terms exhibited here is similar to that of prints Y0109 and Y0110 from the same series: "Ten is called 'hemeru' [himmel]; chiis 'semuriya' [zemlya]; minamiis 'yugu' [yug]; hiis 'dau' [den] …" The Russian couple is dressed in warm clothing appropriate to Russia's cold climate.
