I am at the Hachiman Shrine with my Suehiro Grandmother. Both of us are wearing geta made by my Suka Grandfather.
Kamakura was an important
military capital in Japan 500 years ago (14th century). There are
hundreds of Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines. It is in the mountains. There are monastaries.
We visited temples and shrines and ate lunch packed by our mothers.
