Ground Zero 1945 Image Gallery
These drawings and paintings by Japanese survivors of the atomic bomb were created more than a quarter century after the bombs fell on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945. They are provided by the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. Due to the sensitive nature of the images, we ask that they be used with respect and care. Use of the images is limited to educational institutions and organizations. The images cannot be altered or incorporated into other materials. |
